4 Trapped 300-Ft Deep In Tamil Nadu Quarry, Chopper Helps With Rescue

At least four workers remain trapped in a quarry or an open-pit mine since last night in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, while two people have been rescued so far, police said today. "The workers got trapped about 300-feet underneath the quarry mines in the Muneer Pallam area after boulders rolled from the top and a giant stone fell into the quarry, making their truck immobile," an official said.
