The CP Rail work stoppage is in its second day after it began this weekend, even as the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference and the railway were still negotiating with federal mediators.

But as the stoppage poses concerns for several industry groups that use CP Rail, pressure is mounting on the federal government to put an end to the labour dispute, with some even calling for back-to-work legislation.
