25 Frontline Workers Including Doctors In Chennai Want Covaxin Vaccine

25 frontline workers including government doctors, nurses and sanitary workers in Chennai have sought administration of Covaxin vaccine for them tomorrow. The vaccine is yet to clear Phase 3 trials. The Centre has however granted approval for emergency use. These health workers say they are not under pressure and that their decision is only to infuse confidence among public. NDTV's J Sam Daniel Stalin spoke to Dr Therani Rajan, the Dean of Rajiv Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital who has signed up for Covaxin and would be among the first to get vaccinated.
