2 children killed, 6 injured after bus crashes into daycare north of Montreal

Two children have been killed and six others were injured after a city bus crashed into a daycare Wednesday morning in Laval, just north of Montreal. The driver of the bus has been arrested.

Ste-Justine hospital, a pediatric hospital in Montreal, confirmed it received some of the injured from the crash. The hospital said in a statement it is “welcoming the young victims with serious injuries requiring urgent care” and will provide an update in the afternoon.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commented on the situation saying "I can't imagine what the families are going through, but obviously if there's anything the federal government can do, we'll be there."
