11 UP Villages To Vote For The Last Time This Election

As Uttar Pradesh prepares to vote in less than three weeks, there is trepidation in the state's 403rd or last constituency - Dudhi in east UP's remote and under developed Sonbhadra district. A massive 3- decades old irrigation dam project is nearing completion here, meaning at least 11 villages will be fully or partly submerged. These villages will vote for the last time from these current location in the coming election and there is anger over what villagers claim are unfulfilled promises by the government related to compensation.
