It's unusual for people who live in Pemberton, B.C. to be on flood watch in January, but that's the reality for those in dozens of properties this week.

While evacuation orders for some homes were downgraded, evacuations alerts were expanded Wednesday morning.

Water levels are receding in the community north of Whistler, but more rain and warming temperatures are in the forecast.
