The people of Japan are mourning the death of their longest serving leader.
Shinzo Abe was shot dead while speaking at a political campaign event on Friday morning in the southwestern city of Nara.
Police are investigating whether the gunman, named as 41-year-old Tetsuya Yamagami, acted alone.
