‘I'm not going to put my family at risk,’ says Fort Nelson evacuee | Canada Tonight

The fast-moving wildfire threatening Fort Nelson, B.C., has prompted more evacuation orders as officials warn of ‘extremely challenging’ fire conditions in the region. However, some people have stayed behind. Lloyd Galland, a Fort Nelson evacuee, decided to leave last night with his family and says, ‘With the fire so close it didn’t make sense for us to try to stick it out.’
