More than 100,000 families in the private rental sector in England are at risk of losing their homes after falling behind on rent or being served with an eviction notice, according to a YouGov survey obtained exclusively by Channel 4 News.
The research, commissioned by housing charity Shelter, lays bare the precarious situation facing many across the country as the rising cost of living pushes household budgets to breaking point.
