On June 8, India's Union Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had set a new Guinness World Record by building 75 kilometres of bituminous concrete in a single lane on NH53 in 105 hours and 33 minutes. Gadkari said before this, the Guinness World Record for the longest continuously laid bituminous was for building 25.275 km, which was achieved in Doha, Qatar in February 2019. The task took 10 days to complete.

NHAI ने एक अनोखा World Record बनाया है. एनएचएआई ने महज चार दिन और कुछ घंटे में ही 75 किलोमीटर हाईवे तैयार कर दिया. केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री Nitin Gadkari ने बुधवार को इसकी जानकारी दी. साथ ही गडकरी ने बताया एनएचएआई की इस उपलब्धि को Guinness Book Of World Records में जगह मिली है.
