फिल्म ब्रह्मास्त्र की रिलीज से पहले रणबीर कपूर और आलिया भट्ट महाकाल के दर्शन करने के लिए उज्जैन पहुंचे थे. लेकिन रणबीर कपूर के बीफ वाले बयान को लेकर हिन्दू संगठनों ने विरोध जताया. काले झंडे दिखाए गए. जिसके चलते दोनों को ही महाकाल के दर्शन किए बिना ही वापस जाना पड़ा.

Before the release of the film Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had reached Ujjain to visit Mahakal. But Hindu organizations protested against Ranbir Kapoor's statement about beef. Black flags were shown. Due to which both of them had to go back without seeing Mahakal.
