चुनाव में एक बार फिर पाकिस्तान की एंट्री हो गई। दो दिन के गुजरात दौरे पर पहुंचे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आणंद में एक जनसभा के दौरान कांग्रेस को पाकिस्तान का पार्टनर बता दिया. पीएम मोदी ने राहुल गांधी का नाम लिए बगैर इशारों-इशारों में कहा कि पाकिस्तान के नेता उन्हें प्रधानमंत्री बनते हुए देखना चाहते हैं. पाकिस्तान के पूर्व मंत्री और इमरान खान के करीबी फवाद चौधरी ने राहुल गांधी के समर्थन में एक्स पर एक पोस्ट लिखी थी, जिसकी वजह से बीजेपी को कांग्रेस पर प्रहार करने का मौका मिल गया।
