For 2022, researchers recorded a year-on-year jump of 3.7% in worldwide military expenditure. That marks an all-time high and follows several years of continuously higher spending.SIPRI's analysis attributed India's demand for arms imports to its ongoing tensions with Pakistan and China. दुनिया ने 2022 में डिफेंस और हथियारों पर 2.24 ट्रिलियन डॉलर, यानी 183 लाख करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए हैं. ये दुनिया में अब तक का मिलिट्री पर किया गया सबसे ज्यादा खर्च है. दुनियाभर के देशों के रक्षा खर्च पर यह जानकारी स्वीडन के SIPRI की सालाना रिपोर्ट में दी गई है. चीन के साथ तनाव के बीच भारत ने भी अभी अपने सैन्‍य खर्च में साल 2022 में 6 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ा दिया है
