Indian Army’s Para Special Forces officer Captain Rakesh TR has been awarded Shaurya Chakra by the President Of India for risking his life and preventing a fidayeen attack. This attack was thwarted during PM Modi’s rally in Jammu last year. For the exemplary bravery shown by the officer, he was awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the President of India Droupadi Murmu.

राष्ट्रपति भवन में हुए एक समारोह में कैप्टन (अब मेजर) राकेश टीआर को शौर्य चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया. राकेश टीआर के अलावा सेना और पैरामिलिट्री फोर्स के कई अधिकारियों को सम्मानित किया गया. 24 अप्रैल, 2022 को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी एक सार्वजनिक रैली के लिए जम्मू रवाना होने वाले थे, उसी बीच सूत्रों से फिदायिन हमले की सूचना मिली.
