In an attempt to bolster interoperability in jungle warfare and counter-terror operations, India and Nepal armies are set to carry out a two-week mega military exercise from Friday, December 16. According to reports, the 16th edition of the 'Surya Kiran' exercise will be taking place at the Army Battle School in Nepal's Saljhandi area.

LAC पर चीन से तनाव के भारतीय सेना-नेपाल के साथ 16 दिसंबर से सैन्य युद्धाभ्यास करेगी. यह भारत-नेपाल संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास सूर्य किरण का 16वां संस्करण हैं. इसमें शामिल होने के लिए भारतीय सेना की टुकड़ी नेपाल पहुंच गई है. यह अभ्यास 16 से 29 दिसंबर तक चलेगा.
