Police at a station in Greater Manchester have been accused of unnecessary and invasive strip searches of women, without explanation, behind cell doors.

Zayna Iman, 38, in a Sky News report in July, alleged she had been drugged and sexually assaulted while being held in custody by Greater Manchester Police (GMP)

Police statements released since the report was broadcast appear to contradict things officers have said previously, and crucial footage of Zayna's time in custody remains missing.
