Drone attacks carried out by Yemeni Ansar Allah [Houthi] forces on Saudi Arabia's Jizan and Abha Airports were in retaliation for the Saudi-led coalition forces' crimes in Yemen, according to the Ansar Allah [Houthis] air force spokesperson Brigadier General Abdullah al-Jafri, speaking in Sanaa on Sunday.
"The drone strikes on Abha Airport and King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait and also on Jizan and Najran airports comes in the normal context of replying to the Saudi coalition crimes," said Brigadier General Abdullah al-Jafri.
"The Saudi's vital, structural and oil facilities will be targeted based on our list of targets which consists of 300 targets," added the spokesperson who said the attacks would continue as long as Saudi-led attacks on Yemeni airports and harbours resumed.
The Saudi-led coalition said in a statement that it had intercepted unmanned aircraft targeting the southwestern city of Khamis.
This is the second time Abha Airport has been targeted by Houthi forces in the past week. A missile attack on the airport injured 26 on Wednesday.
