A winter storm tore through parts of the U.S. southeast on Sunday, bringing freezing rain, ice and snow to the region.
In Florida, a tornado watch was issued as a line of severe storms moved through the area.
Winter weather alerts extended across the eastern U.S., from Mississippi to Maine on Sunday and left some 200,000 people without power.
Parts of the region were hit with as much as 30 centimetres of snow.
The storm is now headed northeast, with New York’s governor warning of a “dangerous situation” due to high winds and icy conditions.
