Ontario is the latest province to consider a salary transparency law, following in the footsteps of P.E.I. and B.C.

Forcing employers to be up front about salary is intended to address pay gaps and make hiring more efficient for both job seekers and employers, which could ultimately help reduce systemic discrimination. But experts warn that enforcement may not be so easy.
