It has certainly gotten harder for most people to make ends meet over the last few months. With prices of everything jumping, there appears to be no end in sight.
In its latest report, the World Bank is forecasting global food and fuel price rises linked to the Russia and Ukraine war will last at least until the end of 2024.
Experts say it's because the two countries are key players in the food trade. Sharmeen Somani reports.
