Egypt is building a new capital city in the desert, about 60 km away from the current capital. It's designed to relieve congestion in Cairo, with its more than 22 million inhabitants - a number that's expected to double in the coming decades. The futuristic mega-city in the middle of the desert is set to include the world's biggest skyscraper, flagpole and city park, and is designed to be home to 6 million people. However, hardly anyone wants to move there.
