After a hotly contested election last month in Kenya, President-elect William Ruto will be inaugurated today. His rival Raila Odinga had challenged the result at the Supreme Court, which upheld Ruto’s win last week. But who is the man who will be leading Kenya? The country with the largest economy in East Africa that is currently facing multiple challenges: a cost of living crisis, the worst drought in decades and a record debt. Our correspondent Mariel Müller went to William Ruto's hometown to find out more.
