Germany posted no growth in the last quarter - raising fears that Europe's largest economy is facing a long-term loss of momentum. Higher energy costs driven by the war in Ukraine, China's sluggish recovery and higher borrowing costs are all weighing on the country. There was some promising news though - inflation dropped slightly in July - coming in at 6.2 percent. Meanwhile in Argentina, inflation is expected to hit 120 percent this year, hitting the poorest members of society most acutely. We speak to experts Veronika Grimm, Professor of Economics at Friedrich Alexander University, and Alicia Garcia-Herrero, Senior Fellow at Bruegel, about the challenges facing both economies.
