The space agency says it will launch two missions to study the mysterious planet: one named DaVinci Plus to measure the planet's toxic atmosphere and another named Veritas to map Venus’s surface.

Eric Sorensen explains what NASA hopes to learn from the solar system's hottest planet and when these missions will begin.
