Families should encourage loved ones age 5 or older to get vaccinated going into the holidays, said Dr. Payal Patel of the University of Michigan's Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation during a Nov. 12 live conversation with the PBS NewsHour's Nicole Ellis. For kids, vaccine access has expanded greatly since earlier in the pandemic when access was even problematic for many adults, Patel said.
