In one of only three television interviews since her release from Russian detention, WNBA star Brittney Griner spoke to PBS NewsHour co-anchor Amna Nawaz. Griner was detained for nearly 10 months in Russia after medically-prescribed vape cartridges containing less than a gram of cannabis oil were found in her bags.
In a wide-ranging interview with the NewsHour, Griner spoke about her detention and life after release, but also took a brief moment to share some of her favorite things-- from TV shows to candy.
