Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was left in a life-threatening condition after he was shot in an assassination attempt when leaving a government meeting on Wednesday (May 15). Fico was in a serious but stable condition and is able to speak a little, the country's president-elect said on Thursday (May 16), a day after the shooting.
