After the results of the Jammu and Kashmir Zilla Parishad elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged as the largest party in this election, while on the other hand, the Gupkar coalition won the maximum number of seats. Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad called the Jammu and Kashmir District Development Council elections a 'victory for democracy'.
