Belarus's claims to have taken in Russian Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, and its offer to house his Wagner mercenaries, are adding new urgency to this month's NATO summit in Lithuania.
Lithuania and fellow NATO members Latvia and Poland are increasingly worried about the danger posed to their borders from their neighbor. The former Soviet bloc countries fear Russia's growing influence in Belarus could eventually be used against them.
