Uttarakhand Glacier Disaster: Exclusive Visuals Of Point Of Impact

Here's exclusive visual of the area, or the point of impact, where a glacier that broke off the higher reaches of Chamoli in Uttarakhand fell. A 20-30 metre high sediment is visible now. Most of it was washed away by the glacier, adding heft to the resulting floodwater that eventually slammed into the Tapovan hydro project, a tunnel and bridges, destroying them.
