U.S. Supreme Court unanimously preserves access to abortion pill Mifepristone

The Supreme Court has ruled that a group of doctors lacked legal standing to challenge the FDA's regulation of the abortion pill mifepristone. This will maintain the availability of the abortion pill, mifepristone.

The case put abortion access back in the spotlight for the court after its conservative majority voted to overrule Roe v. Wade in 2022.
