After weeks of mostly peaceful demonstrations in New Delhi, Indian farmers angry about new agriculture laws are losing their patience with their government. Recently thousands clashed with police, demanding their government protect their livelihood and earnings. The tensions in India are now being felt right here in the US with several demonstrations in support of those farmers taking place in major cities including New York. RT America’s Trinity Chavez brings us the story. For more analysis on this ongoing protest, Sourabh Gupta, a Senior Asia Pacific International Relations policy expert at the Institute for China-America Studies weighs in.
