U.S. president-elect Joe Biden launched on Monday his 12-member coronavirus task force to bring the pandemic under control as cases surge in most states.

Biden made a national plea to Americans to wear masks and called Prime Minister Trudeau to discuss common challenges - particularly the pandemic.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump still refuses to concede and launches lawsuits claiming voter fraud, many of them dismissed by courts due to lack of evidence.
