US court accepts civil cases against Libyan strongman Khalifa Haftar

A judge in the United States has ruled that civil lawsuits brought against Libyan strongman Khalifa Haftar can be heard in federal courts.
Haftar, who is a US citizen, is accused of war crimes and extrajudicial killings.
He is fighting to take control of Libya and wants to run in the long-delayed presidential election.
