The Quirk Creek gas plant near Calgary, Alta., could soon be home to thousands of computers mining for Bitcoin.
The U.S. firm Black Rock Petroleum recently acquired the plant, with hopes to move the miners there from China.
It’s a multi-billion dollar investment and would turn Alberta into a global hub for Bitcoin mines.
