The Kremlin said the last Ukrainian soldiers in Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant have surrendered on Friday, amid concerns about how Russia will treat them.

The International Committee of the Red Cross gathered personal information from hundreds of the soldiers – name, date of birth, closest relative – and registered them as prisoners of war, as part of its role in ensuring the humane treatment of POWs under the Geneva Conventions.

This comes as Russia said it will cut gas supply to Finland for failing to pay in Rubles. Redmond Shannon has the latest developments on the situation in Ukraine.
