Ukraine's State Emergency Service released video on Wednesday it claims shows the aftermath of a Russian missile strike 60 kilometres south of Odesa in the coastal town of Zatoka.

According to the service, the reported strike left four people wounded and caused fire and severe damages in one of the town's resorts. The coastal town is home to a railway bridge that is a key connection between the region's south to the rest of Ukraine, and has been targeted during the war multiple times.

Reuters, which obtained the video, said it was not able to independently verify the authenticity of the video, the date it was filmed and location, however footage from the ground shows firefighters battling fires at multiple buildings. One local resident told reporters that no house was "left intact.”

"Everything burnt, turned to ashes, everything destroyed," Nestor Kotliarenko said.
