Ukraine War: Putin says Mariupol situation is 'tragic, complicated'

Vladimir Putin has met with the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Moscow.

The Russian President said he wanted the ongoing talks with Ukraine to yield a "positive result".

Mr Guterres raised concerns about the humanitarian crisis in the country and asked for the UN to be able to get people out through humanitarian corridors.

Mr Putin said the situation in Mariupol was "difficult" and "almost tragic".
