The Mayor of Mariupol said he believes his city is not being "liberated" but punished for their resistance when Crimea was annexed.

It comes after the Kremlin's spokesman told Sky News, "Mariupol is going to be liberated from nationalistic battalions and we hope it will happen sooner than later."
