Ukraine War: Deserting Ukraine 'would lead to higher energy bills'

Armed Forces Minister James Heappey has warned that energy bills could be 100 times worse if the West does not back Ukraine against Russian aggression.

He was speaking ahead of what is expected to be a large hike in energy prices this winter.

Mr Heappey also said providing a £100bn guaranteed loan to energy companies to freeze the energy price cap for two years was not a solution.
