Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Kiev on Saturday, demanding the release of those who they call political prisoners in Russia and Donbass region. The demonstrators held banners reading: 'Freedom to prisoners of Kremlin', Ukrainian flags, as they marched through the streets chanting. "I believe, that we, Ukrainians, and those countries that support us and demand to release our prisoners of war, must demand from the Red Cross to provide us with the access to our prisoners of war, as our state pays the membership fees to the International Committee of the Red Cross," said one of the protesters. The main demands included the public support of a draft law on the status of political prisoners and the release of all such Ukrainian prisoners held in Russia and Donbass region.
