The United Kingdom's new Prime Minister Liz Truss is under pressure to avert a deepening economic crisis in the wake of the war in Ukraine and soaring energy prices.
Truss, who took office just two days before Queen Elizabeth died, has already promised more than $140bn to help Britons deal with the crisis.
