Immigration to the UK has hit the highest figure since World War Two, with net migration at a record high of 504,000 people.

It follows an influx from Hong Kong after China cracked down on democracy in the territory.

Many people from Europe moved back after Brexit one shopkeeper told Sky's Lisa Holland, with the government insisting it wants to reduce levels of migration from current levels.
