France has eased border restrictions with the United Kingdom, ending a ban aimed at stopping the spread of a mutated strain of the coronavirus.
European residents will be able to cross, provided they have recently tested negative for COVID-19 - unlike much of Europe which has barred travel to and from the UK.
Thousands of truck drivers have been stranded in southern England.
