UK faces calls to recognise Palestinian state

Scotland's First Minister John Swinney is calling on the UK Government to 'immediately' recognise a Palestinian state.

He wants the next Prime Minister to follow Ireland, Spain and Norway, which will formally recognise Palestine as an independent state today.
