Turkey-Syria earthquake: War-torn Syria struggles to cope with disaster

The rescue effort in Syria is more complicated than in neighbouring Turkey.

Years of war have left the country unprepared to deal with such a devastating natural disaster.

It is thought at least 3,000 people have been killed across Syria and Turkey by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.
