A pair of violent incidents on Friday and another assault on Saturday continued a disturbing trend of violence on the TTC.

On Saturday, a man allegedly assaulted three people onboard a street car at Queen Street East and Victoria Street.

A day earlier, a group of young people allegedly robbed a man at Pape Subway Station in the east of the city, just two minutes after a group of youth allegedly assaulted someone on a bus in the Pape Avenue area. Police don’t believe the two attacks were related.

The head of the union representing TTC workers says the uptick in violence on Toronto’s transit system is “unprecedented.” Ahmar Khan reports.
