Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals accused Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre of “flip-flopping” on his support for Ukraine during question period on Tuesday.

As Poilievre linked high food prices and the Trudeau government’s price on pollution, the Conservative leader tried to push Trudeau to support Bill C-234, which Poilievre said would carve out the price of pollution for farmers.

Trudeau and the Liberals turned their attention towards Ukraine, arguing Russia’s war was a “key” factor for high food prices in Canada.

Liberal Government House Leader Karina Gould said, “There’s only one party in this House that is flip-flopping and it’s the Conservatives with regards to its support for Ukraine."
