Trudeau discusses global economic recovery with UN secretary-general, PM of Jamaica | FULL

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau participated in a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness on Monday on the global economic recovery and the current debt crisis faced by middle and low-income countries.

Trudeau stressed the importance of all countries working together to create good jobs and growing green and resilient economies to "build back better" from the pandemic.

The UN is calling on world leaders to help governments in lower-income countries gain access to cash and to help ease their debt burdens or risk an uneven global recovery.
