Security forces and terrorists clashed in the Sunjwan area on Friday, just days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Jammu & Kashmir (April 22, 2022). One security force member was killed and four others were injured in a battle near an Army camp on the outskirts of Jammu, according to officials. In response to specific intelligence about the presence of at least two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists in Pakistan, a search operation was carried out. Meanwhile, Boris Johnson met with Narendra Modi, India's prime minister, to discuss defence, energy, and commercial relations. Johnson stated that he hoped for a post-Brexit free trade agreement to be reached by Diwali in October.
